Autumn- Maroon Colored Makeup and PSLs Galore
BaeBlu Babes are certainly not Basic B's. But honestly, who said that vegan Ugg boots, yoga pants, and PSLs were basic anyways? Tis' the season, and we are all about celebrating the weather change and festive Fall flavors.
You're A Makeup Company- Why Do You Post About Food?
Great question! We'd like to think that everyone in our Tribe is beautiful no only on the outside, but also on the inside too. Radiant skin starts within. The best way to achieve a glamorous glow is by feeding your body with wholesome, healthy, nutrient dense foods. We also understand that sometimes that can be a tall order, because typically the yummiest foods are the ones that aren't always the best for you. SO- you can come to BaeBlu for awesome makeup ideas AND food recipes. Glow from within and from with out too.
The Recipe
Vegan. Dairy-Free, Soy-Free, Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free. Creamy. Warm. Delicious!
The base is made with homemade cashew milk, which tastes way better than store bought and is also way better for you. You can substitute any other nut milk if you don't have cashews on hand. Another favorite for us is macadamia mylk. Both cashew and macadamia mylk are extra creamy and yummy. We also use way more spices in this recipe than many others online. We enjoy a more complex flavor, but you can omit any of the spices if its too much for you.
- 2 shots espresso
- 12 oz nut mylk
- 1.5 tbs canned pumpkin
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- dash of star anise
- dash of cardamom
- drops stevia for taste OR 1 tbs maple syrup (if you prefer some sugar)
Use an espresso maker to make your shots of espresso. If your espresso maker has a steamer, use this to froth the mylk. Get out your favorite coffee mug and add your spices, sweetener, and pumpkin together. Pour your mylk over and give it a good stir.
NO ESPRESSO MAKER- Make REALLY strong coffee and warm your mylk up on a stove. Add together all ingredients into a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds. This should also give you some good froth.
Top with coconut whipped cream and cinnamon. Enjoy.
