More Than Skincare
BaeBlu Skin wasn't created because I wanted to launch another skincare line.
It was created because I lost something I loved - BaeBlu's makeup line.
For years, makeup was part of my daily routine, my creativity, and my confidence. Then, almost overnight, my skin changed. Lux Liquid began to irritate my skin. My eyes burned. My nose ran. My skin became reactive in ways I had never experienced before.
I stopped wearing BaeBlu's makeup. That wasn't easy.
As someone who built a beauty brand, it felt like losing a part of myself.
At first, I searched for another product. Another ingredient. Another answer.
But eventually, I realized something deeper was happening.
My skin wasn't the problem. It was the part of my body I was finally willing to listen to because it had been signaling so loudly, for so long, that I couldn't ignore it anymore.
That realization changed the way I think about beauty.
I stopped asking, "How do I cover this?"
And started asking, "How do I care for it?"
I became less interested in masking redness and more interested in calming it.
Less focused on covering uneven tone and more focused on helping my skin look brighter and healthier on its own.
I wasn't chasing perfect skin.
I simply wanted to feel beautiful again—even on the days I didn't wear foundation.
That journey changed not only how I cared for my skin, but how I thought about skincare itself.
